Hong Kong Institute of Biotechnology Limited (HKIB) and Hong Kong Pharmaceutical Manufactory Association Limited (HKPMA) invited Mr. Steve Williams who is the Director/Senior GMP Consultant/Training Director of SeerPharma Pty Ltd. (Australia) to present a “PIC/S GMP Seminar”on 3-4 December 2009.  This two day seminar presents the current requirements of the current PIC/S GMPs. The seminar will cover the differences between the current Hong Kong and PIC/S GMPs and possible resources needed by manufacturers for any transition. The seminar will present a comparison of the existing Hong Kong GMPs, the current WHO GMPs and current PIC/S GMPs with emphasis on gaps between the standards and possible resources needed to make any transition. The seminar will also present specific PIC/S Code of GMP requirements for Quality Management, responsibilities of the Authorised Person, Marketing Authorisation, Validation, HVAC standards and Vendor Assurance.
